Chairman's Message
Create Lasting Impact in Doing Good in Malaysia
Dear Rotary friends,
As the newly elected Chair of our forty-one year old Foundation, I am privileged and honoured to serve for the next three years in providing leadership and meeting our perennial challenges together with our fellow Trustees and our Ambassadors.
I will continue with what my predecessors have set in place and that of providing seamless service to our stakeholders, the Malaysian Rotary clubs and our valued members. PDGs Dr Paul, Datuk Zainie and those before them have done their fair share in shaping what Yayasan is today. We have rebranded and realigned our support to the five areas of focus. We are indebted to them for their vision and leadership and also the yeoman services of past trustees.
Our priority is now to secure funding to continue providing clubs with the support grants as both districts have done away with district grants. These modest sums ensure that smaller clubs with less resources are able to carry out meaningful projects for their communities and aligned with our tagline of "Doing Good in Malaysia." We need to approach and engage with corporates so they are aware of not only our brand but what we stand for as it is indeed a crowded space of NGOs, charities and Foundations wanting the same. We need to be seen to be worthy of their CSR support.
Although changes are often inevitable with a change of leadership, you can be rest assured that we will not make changes for legacy purposes but we may need to tweak and improve upon our delivery. I firmly believe we are on the right track and with the support of our very hardworking secretary PAG Sarkuru and treasurer PP Sia, we have the fundamentals right and now we look forward to the continuing support of benevolent Rotarians aas we can see that clubs are coming forward in engaging with us in support grants and project partnerships.

Service Above Self: Creating Lasting Impact Together
Dear friends,
It gives me great honour to be part of Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia, a foundation dedicated to supporting our local communities and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
The needs within our communities are continuous. Every year, Rotary clubs receive enquiries and requests for assistance, and we are proud that the Yayasan can play a part, whether as a partner, sponsor or supporter of meaningful community projects.
It is truly a never-ending task, but it is also a meaningful journey of service. We are deeply grateful to our donors and supporters for their continued generosity, which enables us to reach out to more communities and support projects that make a difference.
I would like to make special mention of Assistant Governor Clara Tan and her company, Syarikat Haw-Lee Sdn Bhd who have been among our valued contributors. Thank you, AG Clara, for your generous support and for giving Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia the opportunity to serve and make a difference in our communities.
My sincere appreciation also goes to the many Rotarians, Rotary clubs, individuals and organisations who have contributed, directly or indirectly, to our fundraising efforts. Every contribution and every effort matters. Without your support, we would not be able to continue this important work.
As Rotarians, we believe in Service Above Self. Let us continue to support one another, work together and extend our reach to those who need our help.
There is always another community to reach, another need to address and another opportunity to make a difference. We invite you to be part of this journey. Whether through a donation, sponsorship, partnership or simply by helping us spread the word, your support can help turn compassion into action and bring meaningful change to the communities we serve.
